A Jacksonian Perspective: The Federal Prosecutor
September 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Join us for an open and thought-provoking Community Conversation at the Robert H. Jackson Center September 24, 5:00 p.m.
In an era where headlines scream of weaponized justice or slow-moving investigations, we’re diving deep into the important role of federal prosecutors and how we perceive their actions. This conversation will be grounded in Robert H. Jackson’s speech “The Federal Prosecutor,” and we look forward to your thoughts and opinions on how it’s being lived today.
To get the most out of this conversation, we recommend you review the text of the speech, “The Federal Prosecutor” found here on our website, ahead of the event. (Copies also will be available at the event itself.)
This conversation will be led by Joe Murphy, Director of Grant-Making at Humanities New York (HNY), and is part of the Humanities Discussion series, “A New Agora for New York: Museums as Spaces for Democracy,” organized by the Museum Association of New York.
Community Conversation allows New Yorkers to join in discussions that provide the chance to take part in a shared community dialogue.
This event is free and open to the public, however registration requested. Click here to register online. Please contact info@roberthjackson.org or call (716) 483-6646 for more information.
